The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) is India's largest non-profit membership organization dedicated to conservation and preservation of India's natural, cultural, living, tangible and intangible heritage.

Dharmendar has been involved with INTACH since 1987 and is recognised as a pioneer in the field of conservation in Rajasthan. She was instrumental in restoring several monuments like Nahargarh; Dil-e-Aram Bagh, Amber; Kesar Kyari, Amber; Maharani ki Chhatri; Jantar Mantar etc.
